Rural Cape Town: A touch of Allgäu
Cape Town is a huge metropolitan area with a population of almost 3.75 million. But even not far from the city centre, in the City Bowl, next to Table Mountain, it is sometimes very rural…
We saw this grazing cow on our way to the Signal Hill Gun, high above Bo-Kaap on the slopes of Signal Hill. It reminds us to the cows they have in the bavarian area named Allgäu (Germany) which we also love very much.
This unexpected encounter shows the diversity of Cape Town very well. So open your eyes on your trips through Mother City, and you may be surprised a few times…!
